We are excited to announce that our first cow has arrived at the Humblebee Ranch! This marks an exciting new chapter for our ranch, as we expand our operations to include cattle. Our goal is to provide high-quality, locally sourced beef to our community, and this new addition is the first step in that direction.
Our first cow is a beautiful, healthy heifer that we have named “Honey.” She is a mix of Angus and Hereford breeds, known for their meat quality and hardiness. Honey has settled into her new home at the ranch and is already proving to be a friendly and curious addition to our herd.
In preparation for Honey’s arrival, we have made several improvements to our facilities. We have built a spacious enclosure with plenty of room for her to move around, as well as a comfortable stall for her to sleep in. We have also created a large pasture for her to graze in, ensuring that she has plenty of space to roam and explore.
As we expand our herd, our focus will be on providing high-quality, sustainable beef to our community. We believe in ethical and responsible animal husbandry practices, and we are committed to the well-being of all of our animals. Our cattle will be raised on a balanced diet of grasses, grains, and hay, and we will use rotational grazing practices to ensure that our pastures remain healthy and sustainable for years to come.
In addition to providing locally sourced beef, we are also excited to offer educational opportunities for those interested in learning about raising cattle. We will be offering workshops and tours of our facilities, allowing visitors to see firsthand how we care for our animals and produce high-quality beef.
